TRACKER TRAINING DAY - NOVEMBER 26TH, 2006 - 11/12/2006

Our first major Tracker Training event will be held on November 26, 2006 at the Assembly Hall, a Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation facility in Etobicoke. This day is sponsored by the Toronto Arts Council.

Our purpose is to provide diversity training for our community and for Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation staff. Barbara Collier, Executive Director of Augmentative Communication Community Partnerships, Canada will lead us in learning how to speak with people who do not use words and in following their cues in facilitating art work. This will be a great support to our Trackers, many of whom have never encountered communication that is not in words before they discovered Laser Eagles. Also, the staff at the Assembly Hall are eager to ensure that we always feel welcomed and they are looking forward to working with these new communication methods.

Come and join us. Lunch is on us!
